According to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, Chan Gailey is now the lead candidate for the Buffalo Bills heach coaching job.
Per Glazer, Gailey will be meeting with Bills personnel within the next 24-48 hours to discuss the opportunity. This will be the 2nd meeting between Gailey and the Bills organization.
Gailey served as Head Coach of the Dallas Cowboys from 1998-1999 and made playoff appearances in both seasons. To date, Gailey is the only Cowboys head coach to make the playoffs each season with the team.
Most recently, Gailey served as Offensive Coordinator for the struggling Kansas City Chiefs. He was demoted after three pre-season games in 2009 and relieved of playcalling duties by head coach Todd Haley.
Gailey will have his hands full in Buffalo, to say the least.
