Stories have a way of breaking extra quickly during the NFL free agency period and certainly this one is no exception.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall is in Seattle visiting with the Seahawks according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The team has been rumored to have interest in acquiring his services and there are some within the franchise that are making a strong push to get him.

Seahawks offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates and quarterbacks coach Jedd Fisch both coached Marshall while with the Broncos.

Marshall’s familiarity with their system would be a huge plus as they prepare to lead the Seahawks for the first time next season.

The question becomes whether or not Seattle is willing to pay the price to sign Marshall.

The Broncos placed a first-round tender on the wide receiver, which would force the Seahawks to give up the sixth overall pick in the draft—certainly a high price to pay.

The team is also being visited by a pair of other veterans — cornerback Will James and tight end Benjamin Watson.
