Brandon Marshall
The Cincinnati Bengals are reportedly interested not just Terrell Owens, but Brandon Marshall of the Denver Broncos as well.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter first reported that the team has had internal discussions about bringing him in.
Marshall, who has a first-round tender on him, visited the Seattle Seahawks over the weekend. With two picks in the first round, they seem to have the best chance at landing his services.
Whether the team is more serious about Terrell Owens or Marshall remains to be seen.
Schefter’s report has its fair share of critics.
Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer believes that this is just smokescreen to drive up the price for Marshall.
Meanwhile, PFT’s Gregg Rosenthal pointed out that Bengals owner Mike Brown has used his first-round draft pick every year since 1989.
