Redskins Secondary Coach Offered Job by Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks offered Washington Redskins secondary coach Jerry Gray the same position he holds currently on Friday.

Earlier in the week, the Redskins granted Gray permission to speak with Pete Carroll and the Seahawks, but whether they let him take the job is another question altogether.

He is expected to accept the job if Washington will let him according to Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network.

It would be surprising if Washington did not allow Gray to make the move as Bob Slowik is likely to become the Redskins’ new secondary coach.

Slowik and new coach Mike Shanahan have history together in Denver.

He officially interviewed with the team last week and is a lock to join Washington’s staff in the near future.
