The Washington Redskins re-signed defensive lineman Phillip Daniels on Friday according to Jason Reid of the Washington Post.
The move comes less than 24 hours after he was cut in the Redskins Park bloodbath on Thursday afternoon.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
In other NFC East news, The Philadelphia Eagles and fullback Leonard Weaver came to terms on a three-year contract worth $10 million, which is a record for the position.
Adam Caplan of Scout.com reported that the deal could be worth a much as $11 million with incentives. $6.5 million is guaranteed.
