Ravens Will Sign “At Least One” Veteran DB

Walt Harris

Walt Harris impressed Baltimore Ravens coaches during his workout last week.

The Baltimore Ravens should soon have another veteran defensive back on their roster.

After working out free agents Ken Hamlin, Walt Harris and Ken Lucas last week, Ravens head coach Jim Harbaugh said that he expect at least one of them sign with the team before training camp.

“I think we’ll sign at least one of those guys,” Harbaugh said on WBAL radio, per the Baltimore Sun. “We’ll be watching that waiver wire pretty closely because there may be some teams that have to relieve themselves of some budget issues and let a corner go. So, we’re going to look at all of those options. We want to be as strong as we can at corner.”

Of the trio that worked out, the 35-year-old Harris seems to have the edge on being signed.
