Ravens Sign Marc Bulger to One-year, $3.8 Million Deal

Marc Bulger

Marc Bulger agreed to a one-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens.

Marc Bulger and the Baltimore Ravens agreed to terms on a one-year, $3.8 million deal on Wednesday.

Bulger will more than likely wind up as the No. 2 guy behind Joe Flacco.

If Bulger winds up playing, his deal includes incentives that could dramatically increase his earnings according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

With the signing, Troy Smith will likely become the team’s emergency third string quarterback and could leave John Beck on the outside looking in.

Since being released by the Rams on April 5, Bulger had been hoping to catch on with a team in need of a starter, but such an opportunity wasn’t available.

Just down I-95, the Washington Redskins were interested in Bulger before landing Donovan McNabb back in the spring.
