According to the Baltimore Sun, Ravens’ All Everything Safety Ed Reed may be considering retirement. Although this comes after the Ravens were beaten by the Indianapolis Colts.
From the Sun, “I’ve been thinking about it,” said Reed, who has returned seven interceptions for touchdowns and is the only player in NFL history to score off an interception, a recovered fumble, a blocked punt and a punt return. “It kind of hit me on the sideline. It hit me now because I don’t know how much I’m going to be able to have going forward. It’ll be a long offseason just thinking about. It hurts just thinking about it.”
Reed missed part of this past season with a nerve injury in his neck. He later said with emotions he felt after the game might be clouding his decision but he will say what he will do sooner rather than later.
