The Ravens are concerned by Jared Gaither's drastic weight loss.
The Baltimore Ravens are somewhat alarmed by the weight loss of offensive tackle Jared Gaither.
Gaither, who played last season at 340-pounds, is now tipping the scales at a trim 311-pounds.
Gaither did his conditioning independent of the Ravens, but his workout habits may not tell the whole story.
“I’d like to be able to tell you what it is,” said Ravens coach John Harbaugh, per Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post. “I don’t know. He’s getting bloodwork, and they say they’re going to do some tests on him on Monday, and they’ll tell us what it is. That’s all they’ve told me.”
