The Baltimore Ravens clinched a playoff berth by defeating the Oakland Raiders 21-13 on Sunday and officially eliminated the Pittsburgh Steelers by doing so.
The Ravens offense was led by Willis McGahee who rushed the ball 16 times for 167 yards and three touchdowns.
Ray Rice added 70 yards on 14 carries, aiding the Raven’s playoff push.
The Raiders saw Jamarcus Russel and Charlie Frye combine for 27-of-39 passing, 282 yards, one touchdown and one interception. On paper those numbers aren’t altogether bad.
Chaz Schilens had a strong effort for Oakland, catching eight passes for 99 yards in the season finale.
The Ravens playoff opponent will be determined by the outcome of New York Jets vs. Cincinnati Bengals game Sunday night.
