Raiders Think Texans Are Lying About Andre Johnson’s Injury

Tom Cable thinks the Houston Texans are lying about Andre Johnson's status

The NFL is a sneaky place and Oakland Raiders head coach Tom Cable knows it.

While the Houston Texans are claiming that Andre Johnson hasn’t been able to practice this week due to an ankle injury, Cable isn’t so sure. In fact, he told reporters that the wide receiver participated in individual drills Thursday.

“He very much will play,” Cable said, per Jerry McDonald of the Oakland Tribune. “There’s no doubt in our minds. We don’t even look at it that way. If we did, it really wouldn’t change anything. It may free up a couple of guys to maybe get more involved in some things. He’s going to play so there’s no thought of that.”
