Colt Brennan should get a chance to play vs. the Chicago Bears.
Former Washington Redskins quarterback Colt Brennan should finally get his shot with the Oakland Raiders this weekend against the Chicago Bears.
Brennan, who did not play in the first preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys, will “probably” get an opportunity this go around according to head coach Tom Cable.
Exactly how long Brennan will play remains to be seen. The Raiders coach also plans to play Kyle Boller extensively following his strong performance in Dallas.
For Brennan, this is essentially an audition for another team. The Raiders are highly unlikely to keep him on the roster when cut day comes.
Bruce Gradkowski and Charlie Frye are not expected to play.
