The exact nature of Louis Murphy's injury is unknown
The Oakland Raiders may have left Denver with a decisive victory, but they also left with a handful of injuries.
Louis Murphy is the biggest question mark coming out of the game. It was originally thought he re-injured his clavicle, but that turned out not to be the case.
“We don’t know that yet and that’s kind of what the issue is,” Tom Cable said when asked about the nature of Murphy’s injury. “Something going on the chest area, looks to be like a contusion, but how severe it is and how much it limits him is really the question.”
Center Samson Satele, cornerback Chris Johnson and defensive end Matt Shaughnessy all suffered concussion Sunday.
Raiders head coach Tom Cable said the trio all felt better on Monday and will be reevaluated Wednesday.
Robert Gallery suffered a calf strain, but it “doesn’t look to be serious” according to Cable.
Running back Michael Bennett’s hamstring strain was described as “very slight” and he should be back in time to practice Wednesday.
After suffering a groin injury, linebacker Kamerion Wimbley was said to be feeling better Monday morning and will also be reevaluated Wednesday.
