Percy Harvin will spend the night in the hospital after collapsing at practice.

Percy Harvin will remain hospitalized overnight after collapsing at the Minnesota Vikings practice Thursday afternoon.

Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress issued a brief statement updating Harvin’s condition Thursday evening.

“Percy appreciates everyone’s concern. He is alert and resting comfortably, but will remain in the hospital overnight.”

Fellow Vikings wide receiver Bernard Berrian tweeted his optimism on Harvin’s condition.

“Percy’s doing fine,” he wrote. “Prayers still goin out though.”

Harvin has suffered from migraine headaches since he was 10-years-old.

As we reported earlier, Harvin was not participating in practice at the time. He jogged to the field to watch the proceedings minutes before vomiting and collapsing.
