As the Seattle Seahawks and Pete Carroll grow ever closer to finalizing their deal, a big name has surfaced to interview for the G.M. position.
New England Patriots senior football advisor Floyd Reese is scheduled to interview with the Seahawks this week for the job according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
He was hired by the Patriots last January after a brief stint as an ESPN NFL analyst.
Prior that that time, Reese served as General Manager with the Tennessee Titans from 1994-2006.
He was credited with drafting three NFL Rookie of the Year winners while with the Titans, including Eddie George, Jevon Kearse and Vince Young.
He also drafted Steve McNair.
