Patriots RB Brandon Spikes is under investigation by the NFL for a possible player conduct policy violation.
Patriots rookie LB Brandon Spikes is under investigation by the NFL after appearing in a sex tape that hit the internet today.
According to the Boston Globe, the NFL plans to review the situation with regards to their Player Conduct Policy. If Spikes is found in violation of the policy, a fine and/or suspension are possible for the 22-year-old.
Spikes has yet to comment on the issue, but his agent Terry Watson released a statement. “Brandon is showing himself to be a high-character guy in the Boston community,” Watson said. “He has the promise of being a very good player.”
The Patriots drafted Spikes out of Florida in the second round of this year’s NFL Draft. He won back-to-back National Championships with the Gators (2007, 2008) and finished his college career with 285 tackles, 1 forced fumble, and 6 INTs.
