Green Bay Packers tight end Spencer Havner is recovering from a fractured scapula (shoulder blade) and numerous lacerations the back of his head and arms after an alleged drunken motorcycle crash Saturday morning.

The 27-year-old was allegedly driving his Kawasaki motorcycle at the end of a cul-de-sac in California when he lost control and crashed around 2:45 a.m. according to Liz Kellar of The Union.

California Highway Patrol records state that Havner was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

He was transported to hospital where he was allegedly arrested on DUI charges by CHP.

His agent, Mark Humenik, disputes those allegations and issued a brief statement late Monday night.

“Spencer Havner suffered only minor injuries this weekend in an accident, including a broken scapula, but he should be fully recovered in short order,” the agent said.

“Despite unfounded media reports to the contrary, he has not been charged criminally with driving under the influence of alcohol or any other substance.”
