Packers’ Atari Bigby Needs Ankle Surgery

Atari Bigby

Atari Bigby will be sidelined for a few weeks after ankle surgery on Friday.

Injuries continue to plague Green Bay Packers safety Atari Bigby.

The 28-year-old is scheduled to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his ankle on Friday according to PFT’s Mike Florio.

Bigby hurt the ankle while taking a conditioning test upon his arrival at training camp last week.

Until that point he had not signed his one-year tender that will pay him $1.6995 million this season.

The injury is to the same ankle he previously had surgery on. He is expected to miss a few weeks, but should be back in time for the season opener.
