Chad Ochocinco said that he will change his name back to Johnson if he is shut down by the Jets’ Darrelle Revis Sunday night.
“If Revis shuts me down I will change my name back to Johnson,” Ochocinco told NBC’s Bob Costas on the network’s pre-game show. “That’s how confident I am. It’s not going to happen.”
He added that the change will occur before the team’s first playoff game.
He also said that he will make “Fireman Ed” wear a Bengals fireman hat while leading the crowd.
“He doesn’t have a choice, I called him out,” Ochocinco said.
The talented Bengals receiver tweaked his knee slightly in pre-game warm-ups, but should be okay for the game.
Fireman Ed is laughing the video of the birthday boy (whatever his name is today) weeping on another dude’s shoulder on the sidelines!
I sure he hope he keeps his word! I realy enjoy #85, but too many of these guys talk trash but don’t follow through. His entire team was shut down so maybe they should all be known as the “Johnsons”.
