NFC Playoff Picture: Saints and Vikings Get Byes, Rematches Coming

The Wild Card round of the NFL playoffs will feature two week 17 rematches in the NFC.

The Dallas Cowboys will be the third seed and host the sixth-seeded Philadelphia Eagles in the first round of the playoffs thanks to their 24-0 blowout of the very same Eagles at home on Sunday.

Also a week 17 carbon copy, the Arizona Cardinals are the fourth seed will host the fifth-seeded Green Bay Packers in the first round of the playoffs.

The Cardinals are hoping for a different result next week as the Packers rolled to a 33-7 victory on Sunday.

The Minnesota Vikings clinched the second seed in the NFC with their win over the New York Giants and the Cowboys win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

The New Orleans Saints are the top seed in the NFC despite losing three straight heading into the playoffs, including a 23-10 loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

The NFL will announce playoff scheduling Sunday night following the New York Jets vs. Cincinnati Bengals game.
