The Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints bid adieu to three players on Thursday as they prepare to test free agency waters.

Linebacker Mark Simoneau, offensive lineman Jamar Nesbit and defensive end Charles Grant were all informed by the team that their services were no longer needed.

Actually, Grant received a 24-hour heads up that he will be released on Friday.

The move clears $6 million in salary for the Saints, $4 million of which were from Grant according to PFT.

The three players New Orleans cut pales in comparison to the bloodbath at Redskins Park on Thursday.
