Buffalo Bills new head coach Chan Gailey is wasting no time putting his coaching staff together, announcing Wednesday that five new coaches had been hired.
Arizona cardinals’ running backs coach Curtis Modkins has been named the Bills new offensive coordinator and running backs coach. The other new hirings are Joe D’Alessandris as offensive line coach, Bob Bicknell as tight ends coach, Kevin Patullo as offensive quality coach and Griff Smith as defensive assistant.
Modkins and D’Alessandris are no strangers to Gailey, as both worked under him at Georgia Tech. Bicknell and Patullo have also worked with Modkins in the past.
Gailey did choose to keep two coaches from the previous staff, Bob Sanders and George Catavolos, both defensive coaches.
