Favre isn't worried about long-term injury if he returns to the Vikings.

You can scratch long-term injury off the list of reasons Brett Favre may choose not to return to the NFL. He isn’t concerned about that in the least.

In what could be another sign he will return to the Minnesota Vikings for at least one more season, Favre gave an intriguing interview to Men’s Journal magazine where he discussed the damage his body has sustained by playing professional football.

“Playing another year probably isn’t going to make a difference; the damage has already been done,” Favre told the magazine, per Sean Leahy of USA Today.

In the interview Favre also said that he questioned his decision to return to the NFL last season. it’s a good thing he didn’t second guess himself. The 40-year-old went on to have one of his best seasons on record.

Favre also revealed that walking away from the game is a difficult decision.

“I’ve learned a lot through the years,” he said. “What I haven’t learned is what I’ll do and when I’ll do it.”

We previously reported that Favre is expected to report to Vikings training camp no later than August 18.
