Mike Nolan Exits as Denver Broncos Defensive Coordinator

Mike Nolan

The Denver Broncos and defensive coordinator Mike Nolan have decided to go their separate ways.

The decision was mutual according to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports.

The departure is somewhat surprising as Nolan had such an impressive impact on the Broncos defense this season. In fact, he improved them from the 29th ranked defense in the NFL all the way up to 7th.

Nolan now becomes a free agent and could wind up with the Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills or Chicago Bears according to Mike Florio of PFT.

He is also an outside shot to take over the Arizona Cardinals defense if they decide to fire current coordinator Bill Davis.
