From AP Philadelphia coach Andy Reid stated QB Donovan McNabb will be an Eagle next year.
After 11 seasons and a Super Bowl appearance with the Eagles, McNabb is heading into the last year of his contract. For the last couple of seasons rumors have been swirling that McNabb was on his way out.
Andy Reid stated, “That’s my call” when asked about whose decision it would be to bring back McNabb. Reid went further saying, “I think he’s a great player. His work over the last 11 years has proven that.”
After Philly’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys, McNabb stated he wanted to be back in Philadelphia.
This past year Donovan McNabb threw for 3,553 yards 22 TDs and just 10 INTs for the Eagles with a playoff appearance.
