Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb believes that Michael Vick has earned the opportunity to start next season… just for another team.

“I don’t know what particular team,” McNabb said on ESPN’s SportsCenter on Thursday. “I just hope he has an opportunity to be a starter for another team.

“I think he definitely deserves that, and he has done a great job of getting himself together and preparing himself for this opportunity. And I think he is going to flourish in it.”

As we previously reported, the Eagles owe Vick a hefty some of cash in 2010, especially for a third-string quarterback.

They have until March 5 to pick up the 2010 option on his contract.
