Kyle Vanden Bosch
Detroit Lions head coach Jim Schwartz isn’t taking any chances in his attempt to sign defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch.
Schwartz showed up at the Vanden Bosch’s house shortly after midnight to court the Tennessee Titans free agent.
The pair are familiar with each other as Schwartz is the Titans former defensive coordinator.
Quoting ESPN’s Adam Schefter, “No way Lions coach Jim Schwartz shows up at Kyle Vanden Bosch’s house and doesn’t get the deal done.”
He will wind up in Detroit.
UPDATE: The Lions and Vanden Bosch agreed to a four-year, $26 million deal on Friday morning.
