Defensive end Leonard Little has been with the St. Louis Rams since 1998, but may have played his final down for the team.

Little will be eligible for free agency next month and it doesn’t look like he will remain in the gateway to the west.

Newly hired Washington Redskins defensive coordinator Jim Haslett is reportedly interested in acquiring the 35-year-old veteran.

If there is one team who isn’t afraid to spend money to acquire free agents it is the Redskins thanks to the deep pockets of owner Daniel Snyder.

Little saw action in 13 games last season, registered a total of 23 tackles and recorded seven sacks.
