Larry Foote and Steelers Agree to 3-year Deal

Linebacker Larry Foote is a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers once again.

Foote and the Steelers agreed to a three-year, $9.3 million contract on Monday according to Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network.

As part of the contract the 30-year-old NFL veteran will receive a $1.8 million signing bonus.

Foote, who played with the Detroit Lions last season, is expected to backup Lawrence Timmons at inside linebacker.

The Washington Redskins and Arizona Cardinals also expressed interest in him, but weren’t able to seal the deal.
