Knapp Named QB Coach of Texans, Reunites with Schaub

The Houston Texans hired Greg Knapp as their new quarterbacks coach on Tuesday.

The hiring is a reunion of sorts as Knapp previously coached Matt Schaub during their time together with the Atlanta Falcons. Michael Vick was the starter at that time.

For the past nine seasons Knapp has been an offensive coordinator in the pros. Most recently he was with the Seattle Seahawks for one season.

He also has previous stints with the Raiders, 49ers and Falcons.
