Karlos Dansby said his knee feels "great" after suffering an injury in an overtime win at Green Bay that he called "the scariest situation" in his NFL career.

Karlos Dansby saw his season flash before his eyes near the end of the Dolphins 23-20 overtime win at Green Bay.

“[On the first snap of overtime]I was running to the ball and the [Packers lineman] pushed me on my back,” Dansby said. “I couldn’t jump over the pile. My foot got caught in the ground.”

Dansby lay face down and motionless on the field for a few moments before eventually walking off without assistance. Trainers examined the star linebacker on the sideline by for the rest of the possession before sending him over to the stationary bike.

Dansby, who had four tackles in the game, was officially diagnosed with a hyperextended knee.

“It scared me,” he said. “God was with me in that moment. Anybody else it would have been a torn ACL. Something in the knee would have been torn, bottom line. It was the scariest situation I’ve ever been in on the field.”

According to the Sun Sentinel, Dansby was”upbeat and relieved” after the game. He added that his knee felt “great” and he was even spotted walked without a limp through the locker room.
Channing Crowder, Dansby’s new partner-in-crime, made his return to the starting lineup on Sunday after missing the team’s first four games of the season. He had three tackles.
