Justin Fargas
Maybe it’s time for Justin Fargas to follow his father into acting.
The former Oakland Raiders running back’s NFL career certainly appears to be in doubt after three teams passed on him after visits.
Fargas spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday, but nothing will come of it according to Jeff McClain of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Evidently Fargas didn’t get that memo.
“From what I understand they’re excited about the possibility for me to be an Eagles,” Fargas said on Friday. “They feel like my style of play can fit in well here. This is known as a tough city and a tough team and I consider myself a tough running back.”
On Thursday the former Raider visited the Cleveland Browns.
Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that the team will not sign him either.
He also spent time hanging out with the Kansas City Chiefs recently. Unfortunately for Fargas, the Chiefs signed Thomas Jones.
But it’s never too late to make daddy proud.
