Junior Seau retires…again

In an interview scheduled to run on Showtime, Junior Seau has retired from the NFL. His last game was against Baltimore where he had a season high 5 tackles.

Seau, who turns 41 on Tuesday, played seven regular-season games this season, all as a backup, and made 15 tackles. New England finished 10-6 and won the AFC East.

Seau played for the Dolphins and Patriots over his 19 year career, but made his name in San Diego with the Chargers. He was a 9 time All Pro selection, 12 Pro Bowl selection, and a member of the NFL’s All 1990′s team.
