Josh Cribbs
In stark contrast to just a month ago, talks between the Cleveland Browns and Joshua Cribbs are going well according to the player’s agent.
“This is the most positive dialogue we’ve had since we’ve been doing this over the past three years with the Browns,” agent J.R. Rickert told Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. “We’re exchanging numbers and there’s no telling what the timetable will be, but when we can bridge all of the existing gaps, we’ll have this done.”
As for the those remaining “gaps,” Rickert said that none of them were “insurmountable” and that he and Cribbs are very optimistic that a deal will get done eventually.
Previously, Cribbs said that he was prepared to sit out next season if a deal wasn’t done.
