The New York Jets are interested in T.O., but aren't likely to sign.
One day after the St. Louis Rams opted not to pursue Terrell Owens, the New York Jets have thrown their name into the hat.
Team officials have contacted T.O.’s agent Drew Rosenhaus about acquiring the wide receiver turned reality television star according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
While the glitz and glamor of the Big Apple would certainly be appealing for Owens, the Cincinnati Bengals remain in the lead to sign him.
A source told Schefter that there is only a “20 percent” chance that the Jets will wind up signing him.
We reported last night that the Bengals expect a decision from Owens within the next 48 hours.
