Jerry Jones Declines to Discuss Phillips’ 2010 Status

Dallas Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones tabled questions regarding Wade Phillips’ status as Head Coach of the team next season.

“I’m not going to get into the staff tonight,” a disappointed Jones said after the game.  “We had more success than generally we were expected to have.  I’m proud of that.”

Jones did however say that he wouldn’t waste time before addressing Phillips’ status for next season. Prior to Sunday’s loss, it was widely believed that Phillips’ job was safe. It’s tough to gauge Jones as he does have a history of making rash decisions based on emotions.

The two men are expected to meet as early as Monday to discuss the future.
