Eagles TE Cornelius Ingram is an excellent bet to wind up on I.R. this season
Philadelphia Eagles tight end Cornelius Ingram continues to be plagued by injuries.
One day after head coach Andy Reid revealed he needed a precautionary MRI on his left calf, Ingram underwent a procedure to drain a cyst behind his left knee.
The cyst may have developed as a result of fluid previously being drained from the knee that has twice suffered an ACL tear.
In Wednesday’s Philadelphia Daily News, Eagles beat writer Les Bowen called Ingram an “excellent bet for injured reserve.”
He has been unable to run full speed so far this preseason.
