Albert Haynesworth hit the treadmill after failing his second conditioning test.
For the second time in as many days, Albert Haynesworth failed his conditioning test at Redskins Park. Now the team is taking active steps to make sure he doesn’t fail it again.
While newly signed offensive tackle Trent “Silverback” Williams was on the field for the start of practice, Haynesworth was sitting in his car, according to Chris Russell of ESPN 980 in DC.
Haynesworth’s absence was later confirmed by our own Diane Chesebrough who is at Washington Redskins training camp in Ashburn, Va.
The team had the big defensive lineman running on a treadmill in the weight room along side conditioning coach Ray Wright in lieu of being on the field during Friday morning’s practice.
In order to pass the conditioning test, Haynesworth must complete two 300-yard shuttle runs.
