Hasselbeck to Remain Starting QB for Seahawks in 2010

Seattle Seahawks’ new Head Coach Pete Carroll stated on Tuesday that he expects Matt Hasselbeck to remain the starting quarterback for his team heading into the 2010 season.

“We know that we have a first-class guy in Matt, and I can’t wait to get working with him”, Carroll stated on Tuesday.

With the Seahawks likely to target a QB early in this year’s draft, it would be a good idea to keep Hasselbeck around for another year to groom his eventual successor.
