DeSean Jackson should be okay, but the status of Trent Cole is unclear
It’s a good news / bad news situation for the Philadelphia Eagles when it comes to DeSean Jackson and Trent Cole.
The good news is that Jackson suffered only a minor neck strain in Friday night’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs. It was initially reported as an “upper back injury,” which raised some concern. He should be fine moving forward.
The bad news is that the severity of Cole’s injury is not yet known. The defensive end was carted to the locker room in the second quarter of Friday’s game with an ankle injury.
The x-rays taken at the stadium were negative so the team has scheduled an MRI for him on Saturday according to Paul Domowitch of the Philadelphia Daily News.
