Giants Sign Antrel Rolle to Five-year Deal

Antrel Rolle

Antrel Rolle

The New York Giants landed Antrel Rolle on day one of NFL free agency.

Rolle agreed to a five-year, $37 million with $15 million guaranteed according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The former Arizona Cardinals free safety had one of his better years statistically in 2009. In 15 games Rolled had four interceptions, two sacks and 72 total tackles.

Don’t let the numbers fool you though. The knock on Rolle is that he is a poor tackler.

A five-year veteran of the NFL, Rolle will now patrol the Giants secondary with Kenny Phillips.
