With David Carr heading to the San Francisco 49ers, the New York Giants find themselves looking for a new backup for Eli Manning.
Interestingly, they may not have to turn any further than the No. 2 guy for Eli’s brother Peyton in Indianapolis.
Former Colts quarterback Jim Sorgi will pay a visit to the Giants on Monday according to Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star-Ledger.
Although the only quarterback to officially have a visit with the team, Sorgi isn’t the only they are talking about.
The team also reportedly has interest in veteran quarterbacks Jeff Garcia and Mark Brunell.
Garcia’s agent is “just waiting to hear” from the team about an official visit.
