Five of the 10 Minnesota Vikings elected to the Pro Bowl have declined to play in Sunday’s game.

Defensive tackle Kevin Williams pulled himself off the team on Tuesday, leaving only half of the team’s qualified players on the squad. In his defense, he is suffering from a knee injury and was on the Vikings injury report last week.

Previously, Brett Favre, Sidney Rice, Antoine Winfield and Percy Harvin all told the league “thanks, but no thanks.”

However, Adrian Peterson, Steve Hutchinson, Bryant McKinnie, Jared Allen and Heath Farwell are all still slated to play on Sunday.

Justin Smith of the San Francisco 49ers will replace Williams.
