Chicago Bears rookie Major Wright is scheduled to undergo surgery on his left index finger Tuesday after injuring in it last Saturday against the San Diego Chargers.

He has already been ruled out for Saturday’s game against the Oakland Raiders, but should be back in time for the regular season opener against the Detroit Lions on Sept. 12.
