Vikings wide receiver Sidney Rice tied an NFL postseason record with three touchdown catches as Minnesota cruised to a 34-3 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

They will now travel to New Orleans to face the Saints in the NFC Championship Game next weekend.

Brett Favre proved that he still had playoff magic, completing 15-of-24 passing attempts, throwing for 234 yards and four touchdowns. He did not thrown any interceptions.

Favre now only trails Joe Montana on the all-time postseason touchdown passes list.

Rice, Favre’s favorite target on the day, caught six passes for 141 yards and three touchdowns.

Adrian Peterson carried the ball 26 times for 63 yards.

The Cowboys really took it on the chin Sunday.

Tony Romo was sacked six times by the Vikings defense, including three from Ray Edwards. The constant pressure also forced him to fumble the ball three times.

Overall, Romo was 22-for-35 passing for 198 yards. He was only picked off once.

Jason Witten did his best for the team, catching 10 passes for 98 yards.

It appears that Dallas will be shopping around for another kicker in the off-season. Shaun Suisham only connected on one of his three field goal attempts.

The question for Dallas now becomes whether or not Jerry Jones will retain head coach Wade Phillips. Reports surfaced earlier Sunday that a two-year extension for the coach was likely, but plans could change with such a devastating loss.
