Jason McKie
Former Chicago Bears fullback Jason McKie is poised to join the New Orleans Saints in the near future.
The 30-year-old is expected to sign a free agent contract with the defending Super Bowl Champions according to Jeff Dickerson of ESPNChicago.com.
The Bears released McKie on March 16 after seven seasons with the team. He started 46 regular season games during that time.
McKie is credited with helping Thomas Jones and Matt Forte have 1,000 yard seasons.
He joins fellow former Bear Alex Brown in the Big Easy. The defensive end signed a two-year contract with the Saints in April.
