Kevin Curtis
The Philadelphia Eagles had themselves a little roster makeover party on Thursday.
Shortly after news broke that they released defensive end Darren Howard, it was revealed that that wide receiver Kevin Curtis was also given a pink slip.
Curtis’ production was greatly limited over the past two seasons as he was plagued by injuries, including a sports hernia.
He showed a lot of promise in his first season with the Eagles in 2007 when he was the team’s leading receiver with 1,110 yards, 77 receptions and six touchdowns.
Prior to the Eagles, Curtis played four seasons with the St. Louis Rams.
