What do Warren Sapp and Dolphins defensive end Tony McDaniel have in common? They were both arrested Saturday on battery charges.
McDaniel was taken into custody at his Davie, Florida home on Saturday and is accused of domestic violence.
The four-year NFL veteran was released from jail after posting $3,500 bond around 10 a.m. Sunday morning.
He also appeared before a Broward County judge Sunday morning.
McDaniel was kicked off the University of Tennessee football squad while in college after assaulting a another student during a pick-up basketball game.
