The Detroit Lions did a little bit of a coaching shuffle on Friday.
Quarterbacks coach Jeff Horton announced that he was leaving the team to become the new offensive coordinator at the University of Minnesota.
Meanwhile, Danny Crossman was hired as the Lions’ new special teams coach. He replaces Stan Kwan who was terminated recently after 10 years with the team.
Per the Detroit News, the Lions will not replace Horton. Instead, offensive coordinator Scott Linehan will add those duties to his daily routine.
