And so it’s on.
While the Washington Redskins alumni will be busy Wednesday with an official “Beat Dallas” party in the nation’s capital, it’s the Cowboys media who are are stirring the proverbial pot in Texas and getting Cowboys fans fired up for their season opener against their long-time rivals.
Gerry Fraley of the Dallas Morning News penned an article Tuesday afternoon that is sure to make his local readers laugh while irritating those with season tickets to FedEx Field.
The article’s headline: “Cowboys face the AARP All-Stars on Sunday”
Fraley went on to point out that 14 players on the Redskins roster were over 30-year-old, which is easily the highest total in the NFC East.
In an effort to be fair, he did note that the Cowboys had the second most 30-plus players with nine.
